Can you please elaborate on this? I don't quite understand what you are saying about the 2 yellow wires together to accessory power and the 2 black ones to ground. All that’s left is to connect the 2 yellow wires together to accessory power, and the 2 black ones to ground. "I used the included RCA plugs to make the camera connection. But I cleaned up this set of sentences to make it understandable: : This is not a criticism as I greatly appreciate your post, and have found it very helpful. This is a similar problem that you ran into while installing a newer factory entune nav head unit in a 2012 pedrorl The included wiring harness for the Beat-Sonic unit will work fine, except that the backup camera connection is different. However, the Beat-Sonic unit is meant for factory nav head units for model years 2014-18. So I'm attempting to use the Beat-Sonic TAV-CB2 S-Connect Interface in my 2012 TE with non-JBL entune nav head unit in order to get Android Auto and Apple Carplay to work on the stock head unit. hopefully I’ll get some help in finding the camera wires or if one of the factory camera retaining harness on the market would work on my situation like the Metra one. Today, the suite is available with the following features and technologies: Remote Connect: With Remote Connect, you can start your vehicle, locate your lost parking spot, and examine engine diagnostics from a distance. I know someone here did it to a 2011 4Runner but there’s no picture or information on the wires. Entune 3.0 is the latest iteration of this Toyota technology suite, which first appeared on the Prius during model year 2011. If you decide to select LATER, youll be asked to update once more next time you start the vehicle. I had the Entune navigation in my 2013 tundra and changed it out since it was very basic and didnt like it. My spin is the Tundra is a great truck but the radio and most other electronics are stuck back in 2010. If someone knows how to fix this issue please let me know I’ll really appreciate it by the way my camera shows on the head unit not the mirror. Toyota made the Entune App but are not forth coming in telling you its only for the Entune Premium System. I have been trying to upgrade my 2012 4Runner sr5 non jbl entune navigation to a newer one I don’t want to go aftermarket so I purchased a 2016 unit and so far I’ve been able to get almost everything working except the backup camera if someone has any information on that I’ll really appreciate it since I’m upgrading from a 2012 entune navigation to a 2016 entune navigation some of the connections are different on the newer unit I need to know which wires I have to tap into to get the backup camera going there’s an adapter for an aftermarket camera but I’ll like to keep the factory camera I’m also having an issue with the music apps like pandora I heart radio etc not showing on the screen I’m not sure why since those apps are part of the entune system maybe is because this radio belonged to another truck.
